Do It

The “How of the Organization”

Goal: The object of a course of action, something specific that is worked toward. Good Goals should be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, and Time-bound). The time scale is usually within a one year. The Goals will align with the 1 Year “Strategic Plan” or the “Business Plan”. Annual Goals will be broken down into Quarterly goals and in turn, 30/60/90 day priorities.

The “Who, What and When of the Organization”

Action Steps: This is the actual activity that the people of your organization are doing. They have identified the obstacles and solutions. They are responsible for the output. Everyone has a metric associated with their Weekly and Daily activity. You conduct Daily meetings for status, measurements and roadblocks, weekly meetings for problem solving.

Annual/Periodic Goals Review, Time Strategies, and Employee Coaching are applicable at all levels of the organization and will provide valuable skills to improve performance.
